On December 7, 2017, Engetower received engineers and guests for CIGRÉ-Brazil’s Overhead Lines Study Committee (CE-B2)’s Structure Work Group (GT-B2-08) meeting. During the meeting, papers were presented and issues related to the scope of the group were discussed:
- Presentation on the paper “Cost Reduction with the Preparation of a Foundation Design Individualized per Strain Tower in a New Transmission Line” by Eng. Henrique Gontijo;
- Presentation on the paper “Implementation of Tridimensional Modeling in the Design of Latticed Towers for Transmission Lines” by Eng. Pedro Henrique Liberato;
- Task Force 09 Positioning: “Application of Cigré 350 Brochure in designing self-supporting and guyed towers in Brazil ” by Eng. Paulo César Campos;
- Task Force 10 Positioning: “Fabrication and Assembly Tolerances for Transmission Line Towers ” by Eng. Marina Megale Guerra;
- Task Force 5 Update: “Inventory of the Large Brazilian Crossings” by Eng. Rogerio Guimarães and Discussion on new subjects for the group’s task forces.
